Detoxifying & Decluttering:
Making my life a little simpler.

My Spring DETOX will begin April 3rd and carry on into the first week of May.

I am a lover of good wine and strong coffee.
Despite these vices, I am trying to cleanse my system.
I'm detoxing in the sense that I want to remove all the toxins from my body and organize my schedule and my surroundings as much as possible. I'm decluttering my living space. I'm taking more time for what I love. I'm exercising more regularly. I'm learning to meditate.
This journal is a way for me to keep track of things.
Keeping track of my lists, food intake, exercise, as well as goals and accomplishments in this endeavor.
I suffer from mild arthritis (possibly rheumatoid), GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease), IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), bursitis, mild asthma, weight gain, irritability, fatigue and migraines. So far the only chronic problem I have is with IBS.
Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, ovarian cysts, and high blood pressure are all genetic possibilities in my future. My intent is to prevent, reduce the symptoms of, or outright CURE all of the above.
It also my goal to find a happy medium in my schedule, such that I find balance, as well as a more healthy lifestyle across the board.
I have recently been accepted into a graduate program in Interdisciplinary Arts which begins in the fall of 2007. I will continue to work, but only part time, so that I can concentrate on my art and personal development. Once I complete my masters degree, my husband and I will most likely look to leave the big city. We hope to find more space, more quiet, and more fulfillment and enjoyment out of life.

This will remain almost entirely "friends only". It's just a way for me to keep track of my detox process (and progress), so it may even be that interesting. But if you are interested in following my detox and decluttering process, please leave a comment to let me know.
I won't always allow comments on my entries, as this journal is primarily for me to keep track of my process and progress. I won't always desire comment or discussion on my posts.
